If you are a US citizen, over 21 years of age, reside in USA, etc - you can petition for your parent. However, to be able to "fix" his immigration status, your parent has to be eligible for "adjustment of status".

I will need more information to discuss your parent's immigration options. Call my office to discuss your situation further. (888) 565-9993
You will be able to do so if you are at least 21 years old. If you are, please give me a call at 1-800-408-5818 so that I can get more information from you about your parents. That way, I will be able to determine if they are admissible to the United States.
