marring a philipino
i have been chatting with a women on line for 6 months. she will be coming here to get a divorce from her husband who is from the mid-east. i believe the marriage was not in the usa. she will have a visa to work i here in the usa. my question is what do i need to know to marry her legally, and where can i go on line for more info

If your friend is coming here as a tourist, she should be careful not to file for divorce and/or marry soon after her admission, as such action would suggest a preconceived intent to stay in the US, which is tantamount to fraud.

She needs to be legally divorced in order to be able to enter into a new marriage.
