Legal Question in Immigration Law in Utah

Hello, would u please tell me if i can extend my moms visa R B1/B2, she came to US first in march 2010 and stayed for 6 months, then went back to russia for 1,5 months and came to US again in the end of sept 2010. In airport though passing through the custom she was told that she was not supposed to come back to US till after she stays in home country for at least 6 months.they still let her through and now she has to leave US by march 28 2011 and stay in russia for at least 6 months this time before coming back to me.which would be fine, but i have a babygirl she was helping me with so i can work, and i left my abusive husband and his drug addicted family so i dont have anybody to help me besides my family.so what are my options?
