Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

protectiver order

I have custody of our 2 1/2 yr old son, and my ex issued a protective order, then stated I broke it when I contacted his mom regarding our child. then the judge I had found me guilty for breaking th protective order and the order was renstated.

The order says no contact no exceptions. now my ex has contacted a friend of mine to be a point of contact, she knows she cant not respond to him or it is 3rd party messaging. but does the protective order go both ways? Is he allow to contact me but I am not able to respond?

Are you sure that contact for visitation is not allowed under the order?
