Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
My lease ends on 8/28/10 and will then go month to month. My neighbors say that the landlord will end the lease so I was wonderinh how much of a notice do they have to give if it will not go to a month to month term.

What does the lease say? Typically at least 30 days notice is given, sometimes 60. But, again, you have to read the lease.
