Buying property, but still married

Married couple, living apart, is selling joint property and dividing proceeds. One will be buying a new home. Will the 'new' property still be owned jointly?

No, the new property purchased by one of the separated spouses will not be owned in any part by the other spouse but there should be a property settlement agreement(PSA) in place which spells this out.
