Legal Question in Business Law in West Virginia
We had our driveway paved a year ago and the man was supposed to come back in thirty days to seal it, he never did. This spring he said he would be out, that he has ran out of sealant. During the hard winter, our driveway started to crumble, split, there is a seam in the middle of the driveway. He said he would come down, instead he finally sent a couple of guys who came down, and put an extra coat of sealant over the seam to hide it and did not fix anything else. He will not return any of my phone calls.

Any attorney will say this work requires a licensed contractor and usually carries a 1-year warranty. Contact your state's contractors licensing board to file a complaint. If he isn't licensed, he's in big trouble. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
