My father owes me 20,000 dollars and he doesn't agree with the amount but I have

My father stole 24,000 dollars from me. In the past one year he has paid me around 3,000 dollars (around 300 dollars a month). But he doesn't agree with the amount he owes me now. He believes he owes me around 7,000 dollars instead of around 21,000 dollars.
