I'm 17, when can i say I want to be with my father?

I'm 17 years old, I want to go live with my father... my mother has already agreed to it, but keeps putting it off. she does things to mess with my emotions and make me feel bad about everything I do and if it wasn't for my father I would be a mess. so naturally I want to live with him. is there anyway I can go with my father?? he lives about an hour away and he would get me in a heart beat. please help me.....

The court will give great weight to your wishes. You should talk about this with your father. If your mother does not agree to the change he may need to file a motion. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
