how do i fill a law suit against my father to establish paternity now that i an over the age of 18

You may not file a Complaint to Establish Paternity. Your mother is the person that had that right. If you believe that someone is your biological father and are seeking confirmation you are free to approach him with a request for a sample of his DNA. He may agree or decline. If he has other children (your half sibs) they may be able to provide the sample. If you are motivated by money in any way you will be disappointed to hear that he has no legal obligation to you even if it is proven that he is your father. If you are merely curious or have some health related questions then he should be willing to co-operate. I hope you had a dad when you were growing up because this man is not REALLY a dad no matter what the test results say.
