Legal Question in Family Law in California

Money Owed In Divorce

My ex husband and I divorced in 1996. We've been married for almost 5 yrs. In the final judgement he's supposed to give me $5,000. He asked me if he could pay me in installment and I agreed. Is there a statue of limitation regarding the time lapsed? Thank You.
