Need help with a fugitive case !

have a friend that was charged for grand larceny worked for an insurance company and stole around 400,000$ , was charged and out on bail, fled country before the sentencing date , served 6 months before she put up the bail , the other people that were involved in this case all served around 3 years each , could she find a lawyer to take her case and maybe not do anytime , she has a disability lost an arm also has 2 children one 11 and one 18 can someone help with this

She absolutely should get an attorney when she comes back, the issue now is that the mere fact that she ran, depending on how long shes been away, may add another felony charge to her charges...

No one can tell you whether or how much time she may have to do. That she fled will obviously work against her. That she already has done 6 months will help. Her disability and fact that she has children may or may not help her depending on how sympathetic the judge may be to that kind of situation. What she used the money for may also be a factor. Any money that she can pay back will help her as well. She can expect that the amount of her bail will be increased when she returns. I would be happy to speak with her.
