gettin out of a contract

I in a bind renting on contract to buy this house. THis is all new to me and they guy we r buying it from did not tell me bout inspections nothing and i am finding things wrong left and right also my family been sick since we moved in. We have told the guy about the problem and all he says he never had complaints befor and pretty much telling me it our fault. the house has mold upon other things. The house is not worth 67,500 for it r balance is 58,311.98 left on the house. The house is not safe and needs condemed. what can i do i need help

I'd have to see the Contract to know exactly what your rights are. But it seems to me that if the house is unsafe, you should call the city or county about it. Then after your family is safe, you could pursue your legal rights under the Contract. The landlord/seller may try to have you evicted in the meantime, but you have to fight one battle at a time. Your priority is a safe environment first, and then see about your rights after that.
