Legal Question in Personal Injury in Massachusetts

I was assigned to direct traffic at an intersection

around sunset last thursday 0n 9/23/99.

at approx. 5:25pm I was struck by a car which

surved because the driver claimed that the sun

blinded her.

I have been contacted twice by her insurance co.

twice/and faxed a letter.

I was taken to the hospital by ambulance and told

to stay out for a week and a half to 2 weeks.

I have already been to see one follow up visit

to a doctor.

I am pretty sure I will have a legal rep. to make

sure that I get what I need.

I would like to know about the options and laws

pertaining to this in Massachusetts.

Re: stuck by a car

Where was this? (What city or town?) Why were you

assigned ... are you a police officer?

Have you answered questions on the phone or in person from the insurance company or an investigator that they've sent out to see you?

Be wary! You're probably safest to wait for legal advice before making ANY response.

What harm has been done to you? How long before you know the full extent of the damage?

Who owns the vehicle that she drove? Who is the insurer and what do they want to know

from you? (They may be offering to pay medical bills now, possibly without even having you

give up any legal rights. See a lawyer!)

You may contact me by e-mail or be telephone

at (617) 527-0050.

If I cannot help you myself, I may be able to refer you

to someone closer or otherwise better suited to serve your

legal needs.
