Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

We live in Michigan and my husband is divorced. He has two children with his ex. They split custody 50/50 and he pays her child support because he makes more. She had a baby and has since quit her job. Will my husband have to pay more child support because she is voluntarily out of work?

He shouldn't, as the courts "impute" income to a person who voluntarily ceases working or declines their work, either at the rate they were making or could make, based on his or her work history, educational level, etc. She is entitled to a slight credit for having another child, but this factor alone would not alter the child support obligation that much.
