child support

i did not know i had a daughter until she was 10 years old now i have to pay child support can i do anything legaly to the mother i will continue paying support but this put alot of burden on me and my wife and childern

Would you like to establish a relationship with daughter? I think it would be a good idea for your daughter. Sometimes knowing who your child is and having a relationship with the child makes paying child support a lot easier. It might make the mom's life a little harder because she is going to have to deal with you being back in her life and her daughter's life, but I think it is worth it for your daughter to know who her father is.

By the way, they can only go back two years for back support. Is that what happened in your case?

I am afraid that there is no viable action under Minnesota law against the other parent.
