if you are buying land.then get married.can you sell that land without your spoues signature on the sale?

If she does not join in on the deed, a buyer cannot be certain she has released her homestead rights which could void your deed if you are in fact selling a portion of the homestead. Therefore, a cautious buyer would not want the property unless your wife joins in the sale.
