Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri

Workmans Comp. / Defamation

I am wanting to sue a workman's comp. agent for defamation what do I need to know?

I was involved in a car accident while at work . I have been to physical therapy and been released. My work said I could not return to work right now because of the dr. apps and meds. The workmans comp. adjustor has not sent me a check in about a month because she says I was released to go back to work , even though they wont let me return. Plus she has said things to a certian someone . Things like I was a druggy and was going from dr. to dr. getting pills when I have not done any of this. The person who was told this is willing to go to court with me . If I could get ahold of a recording would that help?So what kind of verdict can I expect and what if any kind of settlement can I expect? Is this a good case? Please help with any of this. thanks

Re: Workmans Comp. / Defamation

What were your injuries? Did the treating physician releasse you to return to work? Do you have an attorney representing you on the worker's compensation claim? How were you damaged by the false statemtns made by the insurance adjuster? It seems to me that you might need an attorney to represent you on the worker's compensation claim. You may call me and I will refer you to one of the best.
