Lein

Can I place a lein on my ex-husbands

house. I was awarded that he was to

pay $750.00 of my legal fees and he

has not. The court said I could use any

means to get it. Is a lein the next step?

He won't pay

Yes, you need to get a certified copy of the order and go to the County Recorder at 500 Grand Central Parkway, 2nd Floor. They will have the forms for you. It will cost about $25 depending on the number of pages you have. You can also garnish wages or a bank account.
