Legal Question in Product Liability in New York

An object in the beer

I bought a beer case(known brand)a month ago. When I attempted to open one of the bottles I heard a strange metal noise coming from the bottle. Without opening I moved the bottle up and down and I still could hear it. Since the beer was dark and bottle was wrapped in the dark foil I wasn't able to see how the object looked like. I'm still an owner of that beer. The bottle reminded unopned. What's the procedure for this kind of case? What can I do about? I know it could have finished with an accident. Thank you for help.

Re: An object in the beer

Right now you have a claim for the price of that bottle of beer. Thankfully, you were not injured by the bottle -- and its metal contaminant -- but that also means that you have suffered no personal injury or other damages from it (other than the price of the bottle of beer).
