Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My mom passed away in June of 2010 and now some of her creditors are harassing my dad about outstanding balances. Her estate has nothing left in it. What type of letter should I write the creditors to inform them that the estate has nothing left?

Thanks

Unless the accounts are held jointly with your dad, he is not legally responsible for her debts, if they are unsecured debts. If there are no probate assets from which to pay her debts, they should be notified of that.
