Re: agrravated assault with hand gun

the police can arrest for anything they want as long as there is testimony from a person that alleges a crime. whether those words alone is enough for a conviction is for a jury to decide.

Re: agrravated assault with hand gun

I have been a lawyer in Philadelphia for more than 15 years. The police are there to gather information, then they present that info to the District Attorney, who decides if a crime should be charged. In this case, the gun not being found is a problem for the DA, but they don't seem to care right now....maybe they have some other evidence you don't know about yet. Before this gets to trial, they will HAVE TO REVEAL ALL THEY HAVE!

I know I can help your son if you choose to hire a private lawyer rather than go with the public defender. My rates start at $1000.00. Write back if you want more information.

Mike
