Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Child Support Self employed and hiding income

Is there any laws for arrears in domestic court to help collect back payment of unreported income? Father is self employed and reported income at 6.00 per hour. We have found over one million dollars in stock and esitmate his yearly earning at 200,000. He has been making this type of income for the past five years and we are having a forensic audit done. Can we sue him for the amount he should of paid for the past five years? are there any law for fraud in child support?

Re: Child Support Self employed and hiding income

If your ex-husband has this type of income you definetely have grounds for legal action for back-support. The type of research done to find these assets is difficult. Any time you deal with self-employment finding the money can be hard.

The court takes very serious fraud and there are alot of legal actions you can take to try to discover the money.

Please contact my office if you would like to discuss this with a free initial consutltation. I would need to hear more of the facts and we can plan a course of action. Wage and other garnishee type actions are available to you.
