Custody Rights after nearly 15 years
If my son's biological father has not payed child support or attempted to gain visitation rights since 1990, is there any way that he might now be able to get custody or visitation, and what do I do to prevent this?

Sounds like you have grounds to terminate his
parental rights. But its a lot of trouble and
expense, especially if he fights it. It also
cuts your child off from support. His only option
is to request visitation. There is no hard and
fast answer but he probably could not get visitation
unless he can show its in the best interest of
the child. This would be difficult after 30 years of no contact. I would talk this over with a local
attorney to decide how to proceed. This does not constitue legal
