Seperated but husband gets inheridence

My husband and I have been seperated for several years, his father who is wealthy has just passed on...what are my right to that money if we are not legally divorced. He won't tell me anything. How can I get what is legally mine.

Since it is inherited funds, it is not marital. Perhaps he is not telling you anything because he is still recovering from the loss of his father and the last thing on his mind is what you are entitled to? Just a nonlegal observation.

Inherited money or property is not a marital asset. Because it isn't you have no claim on his inheritance.
