Is it a requirement to have a federal subpoena notarized?

Typically you are served with a copy of the subpoena and the original copy is filed with the return of service. The original is issued by the Clerk of Courts and has a seal. I don't think it is "notarized." The Court issues these in blank to be completed by the attorney.
