Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

jury duty Lancaster Pa

I am the sole caregiver for a 2-year-old. I do not want to shirk jury duty but no one has ever kept her for longer than an hour or so. Would that be except under undue hardship?

Well call them up and ask. You could get exactly what you want. If you don't ask you won't. In the alternative most Common Pleas courts will have some accommodation that can be made for children.
