Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am custodial primary for my daughter who is nine years old, she is not wanting to visit her father any more due to certain circumstances, some including; father leaves her with Grandma frequently, new girlfriend who makes her uncomfortable with violent background, his family making comments about her not being part of family. I would like to know what is the age a child can make their own decision about staying with the non-custodial parent?

18. If it is really that bad, you need to consider filing a modification of the custody/visitation agreement.
