Comparative Negligence

Does comparative negligence apply in Texas? If so, what are the terms (ie. 50/50 rule?).

Is there a resource I can check on my own in the future to search for this type of information? I've already tried doing a search on a Texas Legislature website, but it was not what I was looking for.
