Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Utah

I filed bankruptsy 6 or 7 years ago. It was a loan from a credit union that had my car on it. I live in a different state from where the loan was taken out. My attorney wrote a letter to the Credit Union asking how much they wanted for the car, so that I could buy it. We never heard from them, nor did they ever come pick up the car.

I now want to take the car back to the state in which it was purchased and turn it over to my son. Can I do this without a title?

Can I just transfer the registration?

How would I get a title since the Credit Union never followed through on contacting me or picking up the vehicle.

I lived in Utah and now live in nevada

Contact the credit union to see if they will sign off on the title. If they do not have the title you can get a replacement title from the State.
