Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in California

Contracts

I signed a contract with Systematic Entertainment for rock show, I found out that they did not pay the deposit for the club, so I asked the guy he said he was going to go there but he did not. He then told me I have to buy $240.00in tickets, I told him it was not in the contract I buy tickets, He sent me an e-mail saying he would sent a mass e-mail out black listing me from all L.A. clubs. He breached the contract and threatend me with the e-mail. what can I do? I kept the e-mails copied them too. I have the contract too.

Re: Contracts

If he breached the contract you can sue him for the breach, or at least threaten to sue him in an effort to encourage him to compensate you for your damages. Your options will mostly depend upon two things. What the contract actually says and your damages. I would speak with an attorney if you would like to pursue this, feel free to contact my office if you would like a free consultation.
