Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Child not read Miranda Rights?
My son was questioned by county sherrifs at his school without our knowledge and did not read him his rights. Do I have any recourse if they press charges against him?

Yes, you can hire counsel to use whatever facts and evidence are appropriate in a suppression motion. Just because he was questioned is not 'illegal', otherwise police could never investigate. Feel free to contact me if that happens, if you're serious about getting the legal help he'll need.
