Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I recently got fired from my job because i stole merchandise. i had to sign a form that i promised to pay the company back and its been almost a month and have not received anything in the mail about it, should i contact the law firm? also is this going on my record?

Uh, you signed a confession that is certainly 'going on your record' with the company. If they have you charged and arrested for theft, based upon your confession, then that arrest will go on your permanent DOJ criminal record. If convicted, that will appear as well.
