Legal Question in Family Law in California

family law

Marries less than 3 yrs. I have filed for divorce. Wife became hostile. Placed restraining order on me. Was not necessary. It just created huge communication barrier. No kids. Just real eastate and some liquid asset. I don't like the way my attorney handles the case. Too much delay. Unnecessary correspondence. Unnecessary xpense. I want to minimize expense. Is it wise to ask her lawyer to do the settlement agreement.

Re: family law

Probably not. Her attorneys has HER best interests to represent, not yours period. If you have lost faith in your existing attorney, then your best option here would be to retain "better" counsel to affordably represent YOUR best interests in any settlement agreements to be drafted or ratified. Our Law Firm can be of great assistance to you here, if need be. Simply contact us directly with your request.
