Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I hit a pedestrian

I was driving down a dark street when out of nowhere i saw an old lady crossing. I slammed on my breaks and I hit her with the side of the front of my car. I got out and she was able to walk immediately. She told me that she saw me coming and that she tried to cross anyway. She had no scratches or bruises and said she was fine. I gave her my phone number, and told her to call me in case of something. She called me the next morning and said she didnt feel good and to call her back. She did not suggest calling the police at any point to me, nor did she ask for any of my information (i offered her my phone number). My question is what is my liability at this point? And what should I do? i don't know her name and she does not know mine, or my address or any of my information. And I don't know any of hers.

Re: I hit a pedestrian

with your phone number, the police can find you. Report it now to your insurance to avoid problems later.
