Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Injury in airport terminal ? state of venue

My friend was injured at an airport terminal while flying from louisiana to California due to something sticking up from floor. This was all dicumented by airline employees. She is a California resident. Can she get a lawyer in California and file the suit here? She was told she had to file the suit in Louisiana. Or do they have monies available for such things without filing suit or getting a lawyer. Thank you

She can get a CA attorney and she may be able to settle using a good attorney.

it depends. please feel free to have your friend call me and i will discuss. venue would be determined depending on what exactly occurred and the extent of her injury and damages. in the interim, a california attorney may handle it. i have associated in counsel in Louisiana, so that would not be a problem. let's see if she has a case worth pursuing.
