Legal Question in Consumer Law in Colorado

Car Rental Insurance

I recently rented a car and was told I had no choice in the matter

and the rental insurance was mandatory. I have insurance on my

cars that would cover any accident and I did not need the insurance the company told me I had to buy.

I live in Florida but had made reservations online for this car in Colorado for one week. When I reserved the car I was not told anything about the insurance. The insurance cost me an additional 25.00 per day. I paid $200.00 more than I expected or needed to spend. I was mislead and decieved.

I want to know if I could get my money back. The company took my money and I feel robbed.

Re: Car Rental Insurance

Your problem is that you have a $200 problem with a company in Colorado and to pursue any kind of claim you would need to go back. The cost of fighting this is not worth it. Write some letters and make some calls to try to get it resolved without any lawsuit.
