Legal Question in Consumer Law in Colorado
can I still sue
Over 1 year ago I was decieved, by a high pressur sales pitch. I paid 5500 dollars to learn how to buy and sell real estate. We came to an agreement of a refund of half of what I paid. They were suppose to pay me 2750 dollars in one month. It has now been 4 months and I feel I am getting the run around. Because they did not honor this contract we sighned, can I now sue them in small claims for the full amount of 5500 dollars ? Also me and my son origanally sighned up for this program but I am the only one who sighned the new agreement for the partial refund, can he still take them to small claims himself for the 5500?

If you read the written contract for the first time, you will discover that they don't actually have to do anything to earn the $5500 and you and your son are both out of luck, or else the legal entity named in the contract is some shell company in Tanzania.
However, you -did- get an education for your $5500!

Retain an attorney to review the contract that you signed to evaluate your full rights and/or obligations therein.
