Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado

Hello,

My question concerns the law for the state of Colorado. My wife and I are named as defendents in a suit in county court. Can I represent my wife and myself, as we are both named defendants?

No you cannot. Only a licensed attorney can represent another person.

I recommend you contact an attorney as soon as possible to discuss your answer, defenses and counterclaims (if applicable). If you do not assert certain defenses those are waived permanently. This is not the time to guess.

Good luck.
