Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Colorado

I received a ticket for a minor in possession of alcohol in a large city in the morning. On the ticket the officer wrote 9pm instead of the correct time of 9am. If I provide a credit card receipt proving that I was in an entirely different city 40 miles away at the time the supposed ticket was written, does this void the ticket?

No. When you go to court the officer will (presumably) be there to testify. He will (presumably) realize that he filled out the form incorrectly and will say so.

The purpose of the ticket is to let you know what is alleged against you. An error that actually and reasonably misleads you might entitle you to some relief, but you clearly know that this was a mistake and you know what the ticket would have said had it been filled out correctly. Letting you off the hook over this technicality would not be in the interests of justice.
