Power of Attorney

Besides revoking a power of attorney, what other steps can be taken when a p.o.a. misuses the power?

Where the misuse involves money, a criminal case may result with the district attorney filing charges of larceny (theft). Additionally, if the theft victim is elderly or otherwise considered an at-risk adult (or juvenile), more serious charges (with stiffer penalties) are available.

Civilly, a restraining order can also be used against an abuser of power of attorney.
