Legal Question in Immigration Law in Egypt
i'm Egyptian ,
i have offer to work in american company in USA through h-1b visa
i need to know if this type of visa can be transfered to green card , how long i will take to get this visa and how long it will take to be permanent resident
1 Answer from Attorneys
H-1B is a non-immigrant work visa. It can't be transferred to a green card. However, an American employer can petition for your green card if they offer you a permanent job posiiton.
Waiting time will depend on a visa category.
