Legal Question in Technology Law in Florida
my bussines email use after laid off
My company laid me off and still is
reading all my emails addressed to
an email in the form of
myname@company
(without showing them to me or
without advising the sender)
Is this legal? What is the correct way
to handle this?

Re: my bussines email use after laid off
most companies have a written policy that, in essence, says that anything on your computer at work and any e-mail sent to you on their server (i.e. yourname@company) is their property and they have the right to look at it.
