Co-buyer on trade-in

Without my knowledge, my husband recently traded in a vehicle that we bought together. I didn't agree with the purchase. Approximately, 90 days have passed and the dealership wants me to sign a title transfer. I am refusing and they are threatening to sue my husband. What would they be suing him for and can they in fact sue him?

They can sue him for breach of contract.
