Car Towed from Driveway
Homeowners Association where I live has rule no parking on street. I parked on street for less than 10 minutes,running into residence and then back out to leave again. Came home later in evening and parked in driveway. During the night a tow truck towed my car from the driveway. Homeowners association says they can tow if parked on street but if neighbor turned in my license tag, perhaps towing company too busy to come until during the night and they feel sure my car was still on the street. It was not. Did they have a right to come on my property to tow the car when it was parked on my driveway during the night?

I represent a number of HOAs. I know of no authority for them to do what they did. Consult a local attorney with an eye toward suing them.
