Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Breaking a residential lease

We have to break our lease because we both lost our jobs and are unable to pay our rent. We have 10 months left on it. The landlord is threatening to suspend both of our driver's licenses. Can he do that? Is that legal?

Re: Breaking a residential lease

Your driver's license has nothing to do with your lease agreement. So, no.
