Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
My wife and I purchased 40 acres with a home together with our daughter and her husband 5 years ago. Daughter and husband live in the house. They (husband and daughter) ran up 40,000 credit card debt, and are considering bankruptcy. If they file for bankruptcy, will it affect us in any way?

Yes; you are co-debtors on the mortgage, and you will have to pay.
