Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

About 9 years ago I became pregnant. The father was a friend of mine but it was never a relationship so he decided he didn't want to be a part of the babies life. After she was born I began to raise her with my same sex partner. We however have since split, but continue to raise her together. Now after all this time the father has changed his mind and want to see her. Is there a way i can file for him to lose his rights considering he has never met her or paid child support so my ex partner may adopt my daughter.

Not an easy thing to do. Your partner's adoption would terminate his rights, if successful.
