Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
I have a friend who is an illegal immigrant but has a job and is enrolled in school. what are his options for citizenship
1 Answer from Attorneys
Probably, none. However, he needs to discuss his legal options with a knowledgeable immigration attorney directly.
In addition, for a foreigner to be able to apply for a citizenship they have to be eligible to obtain a permanent residency (so called 'green card') first.
