Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
I have been married to american citizen for almost 5 years, he applied for my green card, but INS denied our case. Is there any law that might give me legal status after 5 years of marriage?
1 Answer from Attorneys
No, you can't apply by yourself if your I-485 was denied. You have to solve the problem with your I-485 application denial.
Why it was denied? On what basis? Were you found inadmissible to USA or was it denied because the marriage was found to be fraudulent, etc?
